“Hear Our Stories”: Trauma-Informed & Identity-Centered Popular Music Pedagogy for Inclusive Classrooms

“Hear Our Stories” is an interactive workshop examining trauma-informed, identity-focused PME methodologies. Participants will engage in collaborative music creation and acquire techniques that enhance student expression, creativity, and sense of belonging. Participants will acquire versatile tools for songwriting, digital production, and introspective practice that emphasize inclusivity, cultural representation, and emotional health.
