Il presente lavoro si propone di studiare l’evoluzione della musica chaabi sin dalle sue origini, esaminandone gli sviluppi sia sul piano poetico che su quello musicale. L’obiettivo di questa ricerca è : spiegare la struttura poetica del ksid, evidenziandone le varianti e l’importanza nella costruzione delrepertorio, analizzare l’evoluzione dell’organico strumentale del chaabi, con particolare attenzione ad alcuni strumenti, arricchire il panorama della musicologia algerina.
