About me
Blas Barragán, Jr. is professional session singer and vocal coach. He has taught voice and performance at HE level since 2019. His research has focused on audience engagement with live and recorded musical performances, specifically with respect to intuitive impressions en medias res.
Blas performs regularly as a frontman and studio singer throughout the UK and Europe. He also scores for Tidal Town Theatre and is currently adapting a gothic novel for the stage. Blas holds a Masters in Creative Writing (University of Manchester), degrees in Music (LIPA) and English (UCLA), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Rose Bruford).
