About me
Dr Marco Pollaci holds degrees from the University of Rome Tor Vergata and a PhD in Music from the University of Nottingham. His research focuses on eighteenth- and nineteenth-century music, opera studies,music analysis, partimento traditions, schema theory, and the history of music theory. He has taught at the University of Nottingham and Maynooth University, and received the Henry Thomas Mitchell Postgraduate Scholarship and a research grant at the University of Pavia for Partimento Studies and Schemata Theory. He has presented internationally and published in journals, edited volumes, and conference proceedings.
